Break-In at Sudden Service in Martin

Martin Police are investigating a break-in at a local convenience store.

Officers responded to an alarm at Sudden Service on North Lindell Street and found the front glass door was broken out.

The owners arrived and a check of the inventory revealed they were missing 12 cartons of Newport Cigarettes valued at almost $600 dollars and five cartons of Pall Mall Cigarettes valued at $160 dollars. They also found five quart size bottles of Bud Light beer broken by the front door valued at $13 dollars.

The estimated price to repair the door is around $600 dollars.
