March 8th, 2013 - By Charles Choate

The man accused in the shooting death of Hickman Mayor Charles Murphy has accepted a plea agreement in court today.

31 year old Tommy Lattus, accompanied by his attorney Dennis Null of Mayfield, pled guilty, but mentally ill,  to Judge Tim Langford in Fulton County Circuit Court and accepted a 37.5 year prison sentence.
