Cards and Nationals in Game 3

The St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Nationals play in a big game today in the National League Division Series.

Tied at 1-1, in the best of five series, the Cardinals will send pitcher Chris Carpenter to the mound in the first game to be played in Washington.

The Nationals will counter with former St. Louis pitcher Edwin Jackson, who has struggled in his last 10 games, going 4-and-4 with a 5.09 ERA.
