The St. Louis Cardinals came back to beat the New York Mets last night 6-3 at Busch Stadium.

The Redbirds took a 1st inning 1-0 lead, when Allen Craig collected an RBI double.

The game was tied 3-3 in the 7th inning, when an alert play by the Cardinals Ty Wiggington, gave St. Louis the lead.

Matt Holliday then delivered a game clinching blow in the inning, when he hit a 2-run home run.

St. Louis is now (24-13) on the season, with starting pitcher Lance Lynn running his record to (6-1).

The Cardinals play the Mets again tonight, with broadcast time on 1049 KYTN set for 6:20.
