Hickman Man Honored with Ceremony

Dennis Hulin       A well-known hunter, fisherman and businessman from Hickman will be remembered Sunday with a dedication ceremony on the Mississippi River.

The Fulton County Fiscal Court, along with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officials, will honor Dennis “Hulio” Hulin with the naming of a popular boat ramp on the river.

Hulin served as a County Magistrate from 1999 thru 2002, and was the manager of Seay Oil Company in Hickman, when died at his home on November 27th of 2011.

County Judge-Executive David Gallagher said many local people requested the dedication in honor of Hulin.

Gallagher said the ceremony will take place at the landing site, and is open to the public.

The landing is west of Hickman, and is now known as Jamison Landing or No.8 Island Landing.
