House Fire In Pillowville

January 23rd, 2013 - By Steve James

Three fire departments were called to help battle a house fire in the Pillowville Community Tuesday night.

The Pillowville Fire Department received a call about a structure fire at 2768 Meridian Road about eight o’clock Tuesday evening. When units arrived on the scene, the front of the structure was already fully engulfed in flames.

The Greenfield and Gleason Fire Departments were called in to assistance and units were on the scene for almost four hours.

Most of the home was lost in the fire, but no one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.

Officials said the cause of the blaze in still under investigation, but they believe it might have been caused by electric heaters that were left plugged in.
