Martin Informal Board Meeting

At Tuesday night’s Informal Martin City Board Meeting, it was announced a new human resources director has been hired.

Martin resident Debbie Yeager was hired to replace outgoing director Celeste Taylor. Ms Yeager worked in human resources for over a decade with the Baptist Hospital system and recently oversaw HR duties for Northwest Tennessee Head Start.

Ms. Yeager’s first day on the job will be Monday March the 22nd.

In other business, it was announced the city will hire the Memphis based engineering firm Fisher and Arnold to help with the new Safe Room project and Mayor Randy Brundige said the auditing firm Cowart, Sergeant, and Reese will handle the audit for the fiscal year that ends on June the 30th.

Alderman will officially hire the two companies at the formal board meeting that’s scheduled for Monday the 8th at 5:15 in the City Courtroom.
