Martin Police Asking for Information about Robbery

Officers of the Martin Police Department responded to a call for service concerning to a robbery that had occurred at Chapel Ridge Apts. located at 528 Ellis Street.

Upon speaking with the victim he advised that while he was parking his vehicle and about to exit he was approached by a young black male, who was observed wearing dark colored clothing.

The victim advised this black male subject then produced a handgun and demanded money from him. The victim advised he complied with the subjects demands and gave the subject his wallet which contained an undetermined amount of money.

This unknown subject then left the scene last observed running north.
