Obion County Man Allegedly Used Other Person’s Checking Account to Pay Bills

An Obion County man is facing identity theft charges and a dozen theft charges in Weakley County after he allegedly used someone else’s checking account.

According to reports, it was discovered that between April and September of 2012, 24 year old Darrell Murray III of Hornbeak, used someone else’s checking account 11 times to pay his cell phone bill.

The report stated the actual account holders never gave Murray permission to use this account.

He’s been charged with one count of theft of property, 11 counts of theft under $500 dollars and one count of identity theft.
