Paris Man Arrested with Help From Martin Police

A Paris man was arrested on sexual exploitation of a minor charges by the US Marshall’s Service and The Henry County Sheriff”s Department, along with help from the Martin Police Department.

According to Henry County Authorities, the arrest of 28 year old Edward Wood stemmed from a citizen finding a cell phone in a Paris area parking lot. They discovered over 100 inappropriate images of children on the phone.

Investigators in Henry County contacted the Martin Police to help pull data from the cell phone that lead them to Wood, but he evaded arrest.

The Marshall’s service was called in to assist and Wood was tracked to a trailer in Buchanan were he was taken into custody.

Wood is being held on a $100,000 dollar bond in the Henry County Jail.
