Kentucky defeated U T Martin 1 to nothing in overtime to eliminate the Martin

soccer women from N-C-A-A play in Lexington last night. The Wildcats came away with the golden goal in the 93rd minute to put an end to the Skyhawks’ remarkable season run. UT Martin was outshot 15 to three before losing 1 to nothing in the over time period.

In high school football last night

the Dresden Lions were 35 to 22 winners over Trinity Christian Academy.

The Lions trailed 7 to nothing before scoring 21 un answered points to put distance bewen themselves and TCA.

Dresden will now play at home again next week when the host Trenton peabdoy who defeated Memphis Westwood 40 to 12.

Also last night, Huntingdon defeated Union City 63 to 27 and will now face West Carroll a 28 -13 winner in the quarter finals next week.
