Three Arrested at Courthouse

October 10th, 2012 - By Steve James

Three robbery suspects were arrested right outside the Weakley County Courthouse.

According to reports, sheriff’s deputies spoke to a woman who said she was robbed at gunpoint at the Ralston Baptist Church. The victim stated she was robbed by 28 year old Martin resident Joshua Hairston and two unknown females.

During the questioning, authorities noticed a car on the south side of the Courthouse that matched the description given.

Deputies questioned the occupants and 26 year old Mallory Cobb of Martin admitted that she, along with Hairston and 20 year old Dresden resident Taylor Stafford, went to the church to buy ten Aderol pills from the victim.

Cobb stated Hairston pulled a BB gun on the victim, took something from her car, and they drove away. Stafford’s small child was in the vehicle during the incident as well.

All three have been charged with aggravated robbery, and child endangerment with Hairston also charged with possession of marijuana and Aderol without a prescription.
