Titans Beat Dolphins

November 12th, 2012 - By Charles Choate

One week after Titans owner Bud Adams stormed out of a game early, citing possible changes to the coaching staff and players, Tennessee picked up a big win in Miami.

The Titans used the strength of quarterback Jake Locker and running back Chris Johnson to beat the Dolphins 37-3.

The game was never in doubt for Tennessee, with Johnson making the score 14-0 in the first quarter.

The Titans also put points on the board defensively, with Colin McCarthy scoring on an intercetion in the second quarter.

The lead was extended to 31-3 in the second half, when Locker hooked up with Jared Cook from 26-yards out in the third period.

Locker finished the day 9-of-21 for 122 yards, while Johnson rushed for 126 yards on 23 carries.

The win upped the Titans record to (4-6) on the year, with this week being a bye week for the team.
