Two Arrested in Hickman on Meth Charges

April 17th, 2013 - By Charles Choate

A mother and son in Hickman were arrested after police discovered a meth lab inside their residence.

Kentucky State Police reports said Trooper Micheal Cook, and officers from the Hickman Police Department, acted on a tip at the home on Tennessee Street.

Upon consent to search, officers discovered ingredients of a meth lab, which led to the arrest.

Reports said 44 year old Wendy Corum was charged with Manufacturing of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.

Her son, 22 year old Kenneth Vowell, was charged with Manufacture of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were taken to the Fulton County Detention Center, with the Kentucky State Police meth clean-up response unit called to dispose of the lab.
