UT Tuition Increase

At a meeting in Knoxville on Thursday, the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees approved a six percent instate tuition increase for students attending a University of Tennessee school, effective for the 2013 fall semester.

 

Instate tuition will now cost undergraduate students of UT Martin an additional $229 per semester for a total of $3,757 or $7,514 for a full academic year.

Tuition will increase an additional $265 per semester for a total of $4,362 per semester for instate UT Martin graduate students or a total cost of $8,724 per academic year.

 

Additionally, the board also approved a 10 percent pay increase for the Chancellors of both UT Knoxville and UT Martin. The UT system president Joe DiPietro will receive a 4.5 percent salary increase.
