Weakley Countian Killed

A Weakley County man was killed in a two vehicle accident in Carroll County.

Tennessee Highway Patrol reports said 39 year old Lewis Crayton, of Gleason, was killed in the accident on Highway 22 at Carroll Lake Road.

Reports said Crayton’s vehicle was traveling northbound when it was struck from the rear by a cargo linen truck driven by Kenton Smith, of Memphis.

Reports said Crayton was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Highway Patrol reports said no charges were issued in the crash.
