At halftime, Westview was only down by one 27 to 26, but a sluggish start to the 3rd quarter put them in a hole they couldn’t dig out of.

Coach Sean Stephenson said the team seemed to out of rhythm for most of the game, and the slow start in the second half really hurt them

Coach Stephenson said the team played hard all season and said even with the loss, this was a good year for the team

Senior Teddy Vincent led Westview with 24 points.

Vincent is continuing her basketball career at Highpoint University in North Carolina next fall, but said she’ll always remember her time at Westview and what it felt like to play in the State Tournament

Elizabethton now plays CPA at four Friday. They defeated Livingston Academy 62 to 40
